Rex Manor

In 1929 Rex Manor was completed and stands today as a quaint example of Italianate architecture in Northwest Portland. Rich vintage brick is ornamented with such detail as scalloped medallions, ornate wrought iron, and a recessed arched entry complete with vintage tile flooring. In addition to these features, it is one of the few buildings in Northwest Portland to feature garages for parking!

Located on the street that has fast become Portland’s Restaurant Row, it sits in the neighborhood of cafes and bistros that span a variety of international fares. Whatever your appetite commands, it is probably just steps away from Rex Manor on trendy NW 21st. The fabulous Trader Joes is also just a few minutes walk from Rex Manor.

Comprised mainly of studios, Rex Manor offers bright, spacious apartments with large windows. Dressing rooms are an innovative convenience in each apartment complete with built in drawers and a vanity as well as traditional closet space. There are other closets in each apartment that are so deep they seem to go on forever. The baths feature original tile floors in a variety of vintage colors. Each studio has a separate kitchen with a dining area. Glass china cabinets make a nice addition to this space as well as the French doors that still adorn some of these apartments.
